How do I set up the chassis and suspension on a 1971 Chevelle for a radial class? I'll probably run a big block Chevy with a pro charger. I've been considering cal-tracs. Am I headed in the right direction? | |

The best bet for your 71 Chevelle is to contact TRZ Motorsports. Mike and Todd are a wealth of knowledge and are a supporter of the site.
The A-Body/Chevelle Chassis has upper and lower control arms in the rear, you cannot use a Cal-Trac with that type of suspension.
Good shocks, double adjust upper and lower control arms, and an anti-roll unit will greatly enhance your ability to get down the track.
Let us know how it goes.
